Dr. Erica Periman has again been asked by Vidas.org to join the team of veterinarians traveling to Puerto Rico to help with the relief effort from the aftermath of hurricane Maria. She feels very privileged to be part of such an amazing and elite team of volunteers.
ViDAS is the lead group for the campaign organized by the Humane Society of the United States. They safely spayed and neutered over 3400 cats and dogs in six days of surgery during the last campaign in February 2019 and they hope to break the record this trip! They are run completely by hard-working volunteers.
Dr. Periman previously received a letter from Ricardo Rosselló, the governor of Puerto Rico, and his wife, First Lady, Beatriz Rosselló, for supporting the relief efforts there.
We are extremely proud of our team and their willingness to work with ViDAS.
